The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted KM-023 into its Rare Disease Evidence Principles (RDEP) process for Olmsted syndrome. RDEP process was established to support the review of treatments for rare diseases with very small patient populations, significant unmet medical need, and a well-defined genetic basis.
